Bob is a graduate of Arizona State University having received his Bachelors of Science degree in Management in 1983. Bob began his professional career with Wendy’s International working in their corporate offices in Dublin, Ohio. He was promoted and transferred to Southern California to open new company owned Wendy’s Restaurants. This included site selection where Bob was responsible for coordinating details with each developer of the various locations in the region. After several years of working for Wendy’s International in this Regional Market Development position, Bob accepted an opportunity as a Property Manager with Oakwood Corporate Housing, one of the nation’s largest providers of temporary housing with thousands of locations across the United States and internationally. In this capacity, Bob was responsible for the day-to-day operation of an apartment community in Newport Beach, California as well as Anaheim, California. With bottom-line P&L responsibility, Bob utilized all that he had learned while at Wendy’s to be a successful manager of two “flagship” properties for Oakwood. Bob then had an opportunity to once again be involved in real estate and market development with another well-known corporate monolith, Hallmark Cards. Throughout his 12 year tenure with Hallmark, Bob held numerous positions of increasing responsibility in sales, operations, marketing and management. Bob rounded his career out with Hallmark doing what he loves best –real estate market development! He was responsible for interfacing with strip mall owners and leasing personnel in order to begin the negotiation process for the placement of Hallmark Card Shops throughout the Southern California region. He also made numerous valuable contacts with owners and developers of every major regional shopping mall throughout California, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii. Bob left Hallmark in 1997 in order to move back to Southern California from the Pacific Northwest. He had the opportunity to once again get involved in residential property management through working with Chase Pacific Property Management and Real Estate Services. Chase Pacific’s primary goal is to consistently exceed the expectations of the owners they represent, the tenants that occupy the units they manage and the many vendors and suppliers that help Chase be successful! Bob and his wife Sharyn have 3 teenage children and live in the inland north county area of San Diego. As a family they enjoy the many outdoor opportunities that San Diego has to offer. During the summer you will find them at the beach where Bob enjoys showing off his “cat-like” reflexes on the surfboard! And during the winter months, you’ll find Bob and his family “snow-doggin” in Big Bear or Mammoth!
